1992 Jaguar XJS Convertible
The Jaguar XJS is a luxury grand tourer that was manufactured by Jaguar from 1975 to 1996. They were produced with three different body styles, coupe, targa style cabriolet and full convertible. 115, 413 Xjs's were made over a 21 year run. Originally these were developed using the XJ saloon. Ford had taken ownership of Jaguar in 1989. In May of 1991 the XJS was relaunched with a facelift. These cars were now available with a 4. 0 liter straight six engine as well as the V12. In May of 1992 Jaguar had come out with a new 6. 0 liter V12 with a GM 4L80E transmission. These cars also received more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers. In April 1994 they had many revisions to the 4. 0 liter straight six engine. In 1996 the XJS was discontinued and superseded by the Jaguar XK8.
1992 Jaguar XJS Convertible. This Jaguar comes with its original V12 engine with an automatic transmission. The car is mechanically sound. Has 96, 399 original miles. Comes with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. Has four wheel disc brakes. Bilstein shocks are on all four corners of the car. Exterior color of the car is Diamond Blue Metallic with a Black and Grey interior. Has all four factory Jaguar wheels and comes with the original spare. Jack and tools are included and in the factory bag. The boot cover is also included in the sale. We have completely rebuilt the top end of the engine and also installed new spark plugs, hoses, etc.
The interior of the vehicle is complete and in great condition. The soft top is in great shape and works as it should. Electric windows go up and down as they should. All gauges are in good working order. Has an aftermarket Alpine stereo and has a Alpine cd changer in the trunk. All the glass is original to the vehicle. Comes with receipts of past work done to the vehicle. Comes with a clean California title. This Jaguar XJS would be a great addition to any classic car collection.
