1953 Morris Minor Split Screen Convertible Series II 803cc. Blue with red upholstery and a new fawn hood. This stunning post production Morris Minor has been subject to a comprehensive restoration and is still in excellent order today. We have invoices on file for a complete engine rebuild in 2016 at a cost of £2250 and a £1995. 28 for paintwork also during the same period. It has also had a new old stock Bakerlite steering wheel fitted which looks fantastic. The Morris starts on the button. The interior and the carpets are excellent, a brand new hood has been fitted and it has a very tidy frame. The paintwork is very fresh and displays a lovely sheen and the panels and gaps are very good. The underside is very solid and free from any corrosion. On road test the car drove without fault with a strong engine, smooth gearbox and good brakes. The car comes with a history file containing bills and invoices and old mot certificates. This Morris is just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands and enjoy getting out to some car shows. The car is now tax and MOT exempt however a fresh MOT will be applied upon sale.
