Here at Old Colonel Cars we have an beautiful example of the BMW E38 7 Series 728 M Sport Auto. This October 2000 face lift example has covered only 77, 000 Miles. This is a low owner E38, with only 3 former keepers. It comes with an excellent service history, all by BMW or well respected BMW specialists. Here at OCC we love an E38 and see that good ones like this are now very sought after. They are very popular, customers often going to later models but always coming back to these E38’s. This is a rust free, very original example with an excellent specification. How good do these look now !

Bodywork / Interior / Wheels
Finished in Titan Silver metallic with Shadowline trim. As you can hopefully see from the pictures and videos, the paintwork and bodywork on this car are excellent. Free from any noticable dings or dents, no rust. This is a really original example with a lovely deep all over shine. Obviously well cared for , this example would stand out at any show.
Inside is finished in Grey extended Montana leather. This interior is again in outstanding condition, the high quality leather is all in lovely condition, headlining is perfect, the deep pile carpets have been protected by 2 sets of mats so remain in amazing condition. Everywhere you look inside this car its the same, its such a lovely place to be, a really well designed interior.
The superb M Sport M Parallel alloys are all original and are all in lovely condition, all fitted with excellent tyres.
Chassis
The sills and jacking points are all in excellent, original condition. Look closer, all the suspension components, the brake lines, all in superb shape.
Engine / Gearbox
The 2. 8 straight six engine performs very well, plenty of smooth power with a lovely BMW straight six engine note. This was the most popular engine for the E38, it propels this car on surprisingly well.
This example has the automatic gearbox, giving you normal automatic mode, sports mode and you can change gear sequentially if required. It changes perfectly smoothly, hot or cold.
History
This BMW comes with full service history. We have the original, fully stamped service book and all the original manuals, in the original BMW book pack. We have a well organised folder of old service receipts and old MOTs. It comes with a clear HPI certificate, confirming no accidents and includes a clear mileage check.

Summary
This is a lovely example of the excellent E38.
A face lift M Sport with only 77, 000 miles is a rare find now, but to find one is as good condition as this is now very hard.
This car was owned by enthusiast owner with a small BMW collection. It has just had a full health check by a BMW Specialist (Jan 2021). They changed some wear and tear suspension parts (Front arms / Rear ball joints) along with changing diff oil and performing a 4 wheel alignment.
The MOT history for this car shows how well its been looked after. Most of the MOT’s passed with no advisories ….
This car is MOT’d until December 2021 (No advisories)
As you can imagine, this car glides along at any speed, superb performance.
They really don’t come up this good very often now, so gram this lovely E38 while you can..
