Porsche 356 Pre-A “Knickscheibe” Cabriolet 1953 LHD
This Porsche 356 Cabriolet is one of the 1. 240 examples pre-A typical “Knickscheibe” convertibles built between April 1952 and July 1955 by Reutter.
The “Porsche Zertifikat” confirms the car was sold new on the 24-th of June 1953 to the Porsche dealer Hahn in Stuttgart/ Germany and is today still correct and matching engine(except from an exterior body colour change from original Mode Grey to Black).
The well documented history file tells in fact… a long story of love!
All the successive owners in Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Germany and finally Belgium took very well care of this rare pre-A Porsche 356 Cabriolet with well documented restoration reports from 20 years ago in Germany and recently once again in Belgium.
Logic that the file contains photos of:
- Porsche exhibitions (amongst which on the Porsche stand at Germany’s most important Essen “Techno Classica” show),
- several concours d ’elegance contests during which this Porsche scores regularly prizes,
