WELL, well. A Morris Oxford estate. I seem to remember as a car-mad youngster that the estate versions of the Oxford and Cambridge Farina models were pretty scarce indeed. You can imagine how rare they must be nowadays!
This old girl is a 1965 model in mid green with a black roof. She really does stand out from the crowd as well as making an excellent load carrying alternative to classic vans - and a hell of a lot more comfortable.
I have been using her myself for the past few days and found her a thoroughly enjoyable drive. A very quiet engine with excellent oil pressure. She drives really well and is highly usable in my opinion. Looks solid underneath. I am not particularly keen on the addition of Triumph TR6 wheels, but each to their own. That is how she came. I would prefer to see original Farina wheels and tyres on her. That apart, I really do like her and, if I did not have so many classics around me, I would be sorely tempted to keep her as a classic runabout. Front wings are fibre glass but an excellent fit and will never rust.
