The last owner, a fastidious enthusiast and regular Hairpin customer spent many years trying to source a good 356 until he found this one. Following due diligence, he purchased it in 2014 and has used it lightly in fine conditions since and has maintained it perfectly as the invoices on file document.
The car was fully rebuilt by a well-respected European specialist prior to his purchase and the quality of this work is evident as eight years later it remains immaculate. It drives beautifully and is clearly well sorted, everything works and it has an astonishing turn of speed, it came as no surprise to know that the engine was bored to 1700 cc on the rebuild. Indeed, the last owner confirms that he has no problem keeping up with a 356 Carrera 4 cam owned by a good friend.
