1988 JAGUAR SOVEREIGN V12 SERIES 3
Absolutely delighted to have recently brought this amazingly beautiful series 3 in part exchange .
It is a UK supplied vehicle from west yorkshire and has had a total of 3 owners from new. It was originally registered to a huge manufacturing business in halifax before passing to a local professor of cardiology who owned it until very recently.
It is a 94000 mile vehicle that has been exceptionally well looked after overall, with a wonderful folder full of history including all the original books, sales order, telephone instructions and all old mot’s and service history confirming the displayed low mileage.
The interior is in superb original order still boasting the dealers fitted overmats, the leather has fared very well with only minimal wear to the drivers seat, all the walnut veneers show no signs of lifting, cracking or flaking. The headliner has clearly been changed in the past as there is no cloth that has detached from the liner. Everything works exactly as it should, the telephone can no longer receive a signal as it is an analogue device however it still makes that very 80’s “beeeep” when switched on and still has power to it so makes a very period feature.
Outside, the bodywork presents very well overall, It has either been painted at some point or garaged forever as the paint as a whole is extremely nice, there is the odd minor blemish which has been highlighted in our online video on youtube which gives a very frank, honest appraisal of the car overall.
All four wheels have been professionally powder coated and four new tyres fitted.
On the road it performs very well indeed and on a fifty mile test drive that I conducted yesterday there were no obvious issues that I picked up on. It is an absolute joy to drive. I also filled both fuel tanks and can confirm that it switches between both without issue.
We have priced this vehicle extremely well as we currently have a very high turnover of stock and new vehicles arriving on a weekly basis.
It is of course fully HPI clear and comes with all its relevant UK paperwork.
