1986 AUDI UR QUATTRO
A UK registered vehicle on the 8th of December 1986 This very very very special Quattro is one of the finest examples available anywhere and certainly the best I have ever seen. It was specified in optional pearl white metallic paint which in my opinion is the most amazing colour on the car, a rich creamy pearlescent that pops in the sunshine.
Factory specified options are as follows: sunroof, metallic pearl white paint, leather upholstery, front foglight and heated seats .
It is a 5 owner vehicle that has been with the last owner for 11 years . Prior to his purchase it had undergone a wonderful repaint in its original factory hue. This was a £3500 job 11 years ago! which was a very expensive paint job at the time, the quality of the job is imminently evident in how well it has stood the test of time, it looks factory fresh and is a fantastic advert for the bodyshop in gateshead who completed the works. It is completely panel straight everywhere and would not look out of place in any modern classic collection.
What really makes this car is the amount of money it has had lavished on it and the unbelievable history folder that accompanies it demonstrating the love that has been bestowed upon it. I could literally wax lyrical about this car all day it really is that good! Under the bonnet it has had regular mechanical maintenance including a new metering head which is a £1600 item alone that was special order from Audi tradition in Germany, it has regular 4 wheel alignment, all the suspension, brakes and fuel systems completed changed, new plugs, leads, replacement hoses. A recent cam belt change and major service costing £2500 just recently. Every little clip, hose, nut and bolt that could be changed has, it truly is a show standard car. Underneath the floors have been correctly undersealed and all components that could be have been removed and powder coated, it also benefits from a full milltek stainless steel exhaust system.
I am confident that this is one of the finest quattro’s in existence and a car that is well known in the club, the previous owner being a member. Happy to sanction any inspection that you may wish to undertake .
