Original condition with only 599 miles from new. This bike really is only just run in.
Supplied new on the 3rd May 2002 to it’s one and only registered keeper the MOT history confirms mileage as 587 on the 8th May 2006 and 591 on the 14th May 2007. After the last MOT in 2007 the bike was put into storage and that’s where it stayed until it came into my possession recently.
Not sure if this bike should be in a collection, or just ridden and enjoyed.
A thorough recommissioning has been carried out to bring it back to use. The bike has been serviced, with new oil and filter, air filter and fuel filter. Carbs removed and sent for ultrasonic cleaning and a rebuild with new seals and gaskets. Brake fluid flushed and changed, brake pads removed checked and refitted. Clutch was sticking, so new EBC friction plates and pressure springs have been fitted. Everything else has been thoroughly checked, cleaned, adjusted and lubricated as necessary and it has a new MOT.
It’s fitted with a rear hugger, front fender extender and taller screen for a little extra weather protection, as well as engine protection bars and it runs and rides as you would expect from a bike with just 599 miles under its belt.
This bike is perfect for your socially distanced commute and the weekend ride out, it’s just solid, dependable, fuss free motorcycling.
It’s unlikely you’ll find another one owner, original low mileage bike of this age anytime soon, so don’t hesitate or you’ll miss it.
Bike is exempt from the Bath, Birmingham and Portsmouth CAZ charges.
