It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to sell our van. We have made so many fantastic memories with her over the last 12 years but she is now simply too small for our growing family and deserves to be used and adored by someone else.

Early bay window tin top right hand drive campervan with original Devon Caravette interior and a 1976 Porsche 2. 7L engine and 915 five speed gearbox. 12 months MOT and tax exempt.
Interior:
The interior is in very good condition consisting of the original and rare Devon Caravette cupboards, seats, table (attaches to side wall with 1 leg or stand-alone with 4 legs) and pull out bed which has drawers underneath as well as a tap/ sink although we’ve never used this. Devon only installed the oak Caravette interior for 1 year from 1968-1969 as they were very expensive to install. The previous owner added an additional oak veneered side wardrobe and roof cupboard in the style of the rest of the van furniture. All rear seat and bed cushions were replaced with matching red tweed fabric (reversible with red vinyl) by a professional coach builder.
There are 4 seat belts fitted - 3 x 3 point harnesses and 1 lap belt.
There is a stereo with radio and CD player with iPod connection. There is also a Propex cabin heater, curtain track and lined curtains with tie backs.
Engine:
The engine is a 1976 Porsche 911 ‘T’ 2. 7 flat 6 in excellent condition. We were advised that the engine came out of a 911 owned by the chairman of the Porsche Club GB and serviced by Pro9.
The 5 speed gearbox and fly wheel are Porsche 915. There is also a stainless steel exhaust - OBX manifold - custom Porsche silencers and hangers to suit van.
The brakes have been upgraded with discs to the front and drums to the rear, both of which are T2 72-79 model.
Wheels are 15” BRM five spoke replicas. Tyres are in good condition.
The van has been lowered slightly using the cut and turn method and new shock absorbers were installed.
A tow bar and 7 pin electrics designed for this model have been installed. We used this to tow a small Erde 122 trailer on occasion for kids bikes etc.
Exterior:
The colour of the van is Porsche Guards red and white.
The condition is in the main very good but there are a few areas that will need attention at some point - namely the passenger side wheel arch and a small area of the boot lid and drivers side panel. Please see the photos highlighting these. We have not carried out any bodywork repairs in the 12 years of ownership as we focussed on ensuring the engine was running well through the replacement of many parts including alternator, HT coil, fuel pump and all pipe work etc.
Additional:
Included in the sale is a Nomad 3 drive away awning. This has been used and not in perfect condition but still fully functional.
Also included in the sale is the spare tyre cover, extra side window, set of replacement Just Kampers window/ door rubbers (minus driver/ passenger rubbers that were installed on the van) and child cab bunk bed.
There are two Haynes manuals - 1 x Porsche and 1 x VW T2.
There are two keys.
