A very smart MG TD finished in an attractive shade of green, with complimentary leather interior. The car was produced in July 1953 for the American market in left-hand drive form, and came back to this country in 2013. The car was restored in America, we think around 2006-07 and is in very good condition. The paintwork is generally good, with one or two imperfections, the chrome work is excellent, having been renewed, and the upholstery is also in good condition, with a nice patina. The hood and side screens have recently been replaced - a top quality job with excellent fit, carried out by A. S. Pickering at Bradford - very expensive. The wheels and tyres and the stainless steel exhaust are all good, and the underside of the car is just as you would like it, as you can see from the photograph. The car starts easily and runs well, driving smoothly through the gears. The oil pressure is good and there is no overheating, and the charging system works well. Flashing indicators have been fitted for safety. At the rear of the car there is a fold-down luggage rack, and being left-hand drive, this is an ideal sports car for touring the continent. Everything on the car works as it should and we are pleased to offer it for sale at a very realistic price. Comes with V5C, history file, reprinted handbook, and original type jack.
