1966 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Auto Convertible in very good condition, both mechanically and aesthetically.
This iconic American muscle car is powered by a 4. 9 litre, 280 horsepower Windsor V8 engine with a 3-speed «C4 Cruise-O-Matic» automatic transmission.
In this car, some improvements were made in the braking system, with the application of brake booster and disc brakes, in the carburetion, with a 4-body Holley carburetor and in the steering, with the addition of a specific system of power assisted steering.
Designed by Joe Oros and his team, the Mustang had a futuristic design and simple mechanics and many parts common to the Ford Falcon.
The long bonnet, short suitcase and good performances became a trend and thus a new segment emerged in the American market that would come to be known as the «Pony Car».
Mustang has become a cult car all over the world and some say it is essential in any classic collection.
