After a change in circumstances, I am placing my Harley Davidson 1942 Flathead and more.
This listing is for my recently purchased Harley Davidson 1942 Flathead. The bike was purchased from a member of the Harley Davidsons Riders Club of Great Britain.
This was the second 1942 Flathead that he restored over the last 8 years. This bike took just over 3 years to complete. In the pictures it is in it's Bobber style. I have the front and rear mudguards for returning to stock, if the next owner wishes. They were painted at the same time to ensure an exact colour match. They have been dry fitted to ensure an exact fit and come with additional lights, chain guard, rear stand and all the specialist bolts and fittings.
Every part of this motorcycle was taken apart and undertook a complete rebuild. An overview of the parts and work is listed below.
This motorcycle is completely oil tight, as this was on display in my office.
This is just part of the engine list, there are other items that were replaced as well. The gear box list is extensive as well. All receipts for the parts have been kept with most parts being obtained from 45 Parts Eu or Jan Willem Boon.
