a great investment opportunity

prices are only going up!
welcome to my advert for my personal e36 m3 convertible finished in ultra rare dakar yellow individual which i purchased as an investment earlier this year with the intent to restorin. The vehicle. Since ownin. The vehicle i have spent around £4, 000 on giving it a full mechanical overhaul using genuine brand new bmw parts with invoices to prove. I documented all the work that was carried out at a bmw specialist by photographing all progress whilst work was being done (images available upon request).
the following items have been replaced on the vehicle:
- suspension refresh including genuine new bmw springs and sachs oem shockers.
- brake refresh which consisted of brand new discs, pads and callipers followed by a brake fluid service.
- new radiator.
- new oil cooler.
- main fan.
- engine mounts.
- gearbox mounts.
- new wishbones.
- rear wishbone bushes, sway arm bushes.
- gearbox output shaft seal.
- vanos rebuild (no vanos leaks).
- vacuum pump pipes.
- steering pipe.
- new throttle cable.
- rocker cover gasket.
- gearbox selector bushes and couplings (gearstick now feels tight).
- oil temperature sensor repaired.
- new screen washer bottle.
- brake fluid bottle,
- coolant bottle.
- plenum and rocker cover painted in wrinkle black.
- full service also completed with new air filters and spark plugs.
my m3 has 112, 000 miles on it and 7 previous owners, starts first time and drives amazing, no oil leaks, power loss or smoke, all of the common mechanical issues have been addressed includin. The vans as pointed out above.
bodywork:
the condition of the bodywork is good, it seems as if someone has previously given the car a full paint job previously and put it into storage, one of the rear arches has started to slightly bubble but the rest seem good, bonnet alignment needs sorting i will get this done if i get time it just needs adjusting, i would rate the bodywork a 8 out of 10, cleans up very well there is no nasty dents/ scrapes or scratches, but it isn't perfect and by no means a show car.
interior:
the interior is in good condition, the drivers bolster has been repaired at some point so looks slightly newer compared to the rest of the seat, the steering wheel and gear stick have been trimmed in alcantara which i was goin. To put back to original if i were to keep the car, the dashboard is in good condition with no cracking or damage as is the centre console, all of the buttons look good with no fading or wear, the trip computer works perfect with no pixelation, the drivers footwell carpet has a tear but this is the only thin. That lets it down in the interior department. The door cards have been fitted with the mbquarts sound system, one of the doorcards is missin. The trim around the interior pull handle but there's no damage, i give the interior a 8 out of 10 if it wasn't for that tear near the foot pedals which isn't really visible unless you look right the way in. The soft top is in good condition with no leaks or tears and cleans up well, almost as if its been re-dyed at some point in its life.
there was at one point a clifford alarm fitted to the car which has been disabled, but to unlock and lock the car you have to use the clifford fob, ive been told it could do with a new and updated alarm system.
service history:
she has stacks of invoices and a mixture of bmw and independent history which is up to date. I have also had a major service carried out on the car at a bmw specialist who carried out all the work above.
these are now getting rare and going up in value, i have done most of the hard work and given the car pretty much a full mechanical overhaul, she drives great with no leaks or power loss, sounds beautiful and is a joy to drive. Please understand this is a genuine dakar yellow individual m3, a very rare colour which usually do not tend to come up for sale often. I am selling as i need to free up some cash and make room for my other classic cars, i am also selling a manual e46 m3 in titanium silver convertible which is ultra clean.
