Completed in summer 2021, the pride of our fleet is this 1955 Chevrolet 5700 low loader, which has taken 3 years in the making. The truck is already the winner of 3 awards from just 2 shows.
The vehicle is a one-off in every way: from its bespoke in-house built bed to its remote-controlled air suspension and pristine paint job.
Underneath, this seemingly ancient vehicle benefits from a modern 5. 9ltr Cummins powerhouse, coupled to a ZF manual 5-speed gearbox. All of which is blown by an HX40 turbo, while the intercooler keeps things running smoothly.
As well as uprated power, the truck also benefits from uprated braking, with a complete air system. The air doesn't stop there, as the vehicle's gear changes are also aided by air.
The bespoke exhaust stacks were also created in house.
The bed is a one-off, built by our team specifically for this project and inlaid with hardwood. It is operated by a one-off hydraulic system, which allows for easy loading and unloading of vehicles.
Inside, the driver and passenger are treated to bespoke leather, matched with age-appropriate dials and features.
As would be expected, the truck has been completely rewired by our team, offering fault and worry-free driving.
