The Porsche 911 Turbo (930) had a fearsome reputation. With exhilarating acceleration, rewarding handling and driving characteristics it was the class leader. Unlike most other supercars of its time, the 911 Turbo benefitted from reliable useability and with its outstanding Turbocharged performance it became the most desirable car of the decade.
This very special, locally-owned and low-mileage 930 911 Turbo is finished in the iconic and beautiful Guards Red. Contrasted with cream leather interior and further set off with black Fuchs alloys and black trims, many would consider this to be the ultimate combination. Other benefits include optional climate control, factory sunroof and electric sport seats.
The original interior still presents in a very good and well cared for condition, as does the vehicles bodywork, paintwork, wheels and trims which all present beautifully. This is as good a 911 as we have seen and as you’d expect behind the wheel is such fun and a very enjoyable and rewarding car to drive. Furthermore it feels strong and many years younger than it is. Care should be taken as when the Turbo comes in acceleration it is nothing short of brutal.
Supplied with a large file of maintenance records, it has clearly been meticulously maintained by various Porsche specialists over the years. Bills for works are dated from 1987 all the way through to present day, with the original manuals and service book comprehensively stamped up to 71, 200 miles. Also present are all MOT certificates, tax discs, registration documents, spare keys.
