Volvo 240DL 1980 early model with low mileage. I bought this about a 2 years ago with the intention of restoring it and putting back on the road, as with all good intentions it’s been sat in my unit and I haven’t found the time and doubt if I will. When I got the car it had been parked in a barn for a few years and didn’t have battery, so was sold as a non runner. I had it collected and bought to my unit. I put a battery on it from another car, added some fresh fuel and it started, although it was running a little rough and would probably benefit from a service and set up. I drove it round my yard and then put it back and that’s where it’s been since. The car needs work to the boot floor, but other than that seems fairly solid, although I haven’t had it up in the air. I would recommend viewing to make up your own opinions but I do have a walk round video I can send to anyone who’s interested. I have no idea what it’s worth but I know what I paid for it including transport and it’s more than I’ve got it advertised for. I’m open to offers as it’s taking up space but not desperate. I prefer to talk over the phone and I’ll be as honest as I can as not to waste anyone’s time. I do think for someone who has the right skills and time it would make a nice car with low mileage.
