Rover SD1 Vitesse 3. 5lt V8 August 1983, Moonraker Blue.
The car has been sitting outdoors for many years (originally under a cover), and has unfortunately suffered the ill effects of the weather.
Suitable for either major restoration or for spares.
Location: North London.
Details:
Correct Vitesse alloys that were refurbished about 1998, with Pirelli tyres, new at the time but now perished / flat.
Proper SD1 Vitesse single point injection engine, which had a set of genuine rocker shafts, arms & springs fitted prior to lay-up (not done any mileage)
The car has a set of Koni dampers, and XJS front brake calliper conversion kit (would need rebuild).
The manual gearbox was rebuilt in 1998 by Rovertec, and has under 500 miles on it.
Aftermarket (loud) exhaust, needs rear hanger bracket.
It has the ‘early’ style front spoiler.
Rare aftermarket Air-con system.
Comes with a spare bonnet.
The car has suffered from exposure to the elements and has a water damaged interior and rusty floors etc.
NOTE:
As the car is not currently runnable, the buyer must be willing and able to extract from rear of garden into alleyway for suitable transportation / trailering away.
