Description
This Impala convertible with its 4. 7 litre V8 was completed in the 4th week of June 1964 at the GM plant Tarrytown followed by export and delivery to Switzerland. Many years ago, the car was repainted in its original (Acryl) shade of “silver blue”. In August 2012 the Chevrolet, having by then covered 94‘000 kilometres, was purchased by the current and 3rd owner. After taking delivery of the car, he had the power steering and the front suspension overhauled and the shock absorbers replaced. In 2013 the interior was reupholstered and covered with leather and the convertible top was replaced as well. In the same year a new exhaust system was installed. In 2017 the braking system was overhauled. Restoration and maintenance receipts for over 40‘000 Swiss francs covering the years 2012 to 2019 are available. Currently the Impala shows 99‘500 kilometres and presents itself in very good condition. The last Swiss Veteran MOT was completed successfully in July 2020. Asking price: CHF 45'000
