- Delivered new in mid 1990 at Lueg Mercedes-Benz in Bochum, West Germany and finished in phenomenal and rare Nautical blue Metallic (929U) over blue fabric (062) and purchased in 1991 by a Japanese businessman that exported it to his home country.
- This 300TE is a true eye catcher and packed with charismatic personality.
- It was fitted in period with a Pre-Merger, Pre-Facelift AMG styled aerokit, that includes a full front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper.
- OEM AMG Monoblocks in 17inch color matched and wrapped in new Continental tires, add to the overall period correct sport wagon appearance.
The heat isolated original glass all around, comes with a light blue tone which also contribute to the blue theme. Paint presents very well all around considering the age of this car. All rubbers and weather stripping are in excellent condition,
Inside, the fabric interior is in outstanding condition, both on the seats and the blue carpeting.
- Brand new and correct blue/ black checkered coco matts were added recently.
- Driver seat’s left bolster shows some wear typical of the W124’s fabric interiors.
- Dash is free of cracks and information is provided by a custom white face instrument cluster.
- Mechanically the M103 inline 6 cylinder engine delivers power nicely and quietly through all 4 gears of the automatic transmission.
- Brakes and ABS operate as intended from factory.
- Sport wagon appearance is complemented by the suspension which has been freshly fitted with custom Yellow Speed Pro Sport Coilovers with front camber plates and rear SLS delete, professionally installed.
