The Triumph TR 4 was designed by the Italian star designer Michelotti who was responsible for all the pretty Triumph cars of the 1960s. In the Triumph TR 4 he combined the world of the masculine British sports car with the quality of seductive and refined Italian styling.
The Triumph TR 4A IRS is the top-of-the-line incarnation of the TR 4.
The car features all the improvements made over the years, the strongest engine, and independent rear suspension instead of a rigid ‘live axle’. This TR 4A IRS is a very desirable example showing wonderful original details.
