This 190E 2. 6 is a great project with lots of potential.
It’s a very late example, built in 1992, finished in great colours – Blue Black metallic with rare black ‘Sports Check’ cloth interior, set off with a period Zender rear spoiler and 8-hole Mercedes alloy wheels.
Electric windows, leather steering wheel and gear knob, electric sunroof, rear head rests, headlamp wash/ wipe and 70-litre fuel tank.
The car has all books and manuals and a Full Service History with 24 entries and a large folder of receipts going back to the 90s.

The head gasket was replaced in 2015 and in 2018 the automatic gearbox was completely overhauled at a cost of over £2000.
As the pictures show the body is clean and tidy, but up close there are paintwork blemishes. The interior is in nice condition, as the pictures show.
The car is running, driving and on the button, however it does not have an MoT and will require welding, particularly to the nearside sill. Note, the car will need transporting away.
The 2. 6-litre six-cylinder 190Es are fairly rare and sought after. This car in black on black is particularly desirable. A great winter project.
