Description

For those looking for the best, then look no further. With only 100 right hand drive 944 Turbo convertibles produced, finding a low mileage example (46, 580 from new) is rare and a very special treat for our customers.

Over the past 30 years J950 OPM has had only four owners, and it is apparent from the cars condition that they have all taken great pride in this special car.

Originally supplied by AFN of Guildford, and delivered to its first owner on the 1st August 1991, this 944 Turbo is finished in the understated hue of titanium metallic grey (code LY7P) with a contrasting cobalt blue hood.

The bodywork still presents beautifully with a deep gloss finished and consistent factory panel gaps, whist the double layer fabric hood is in great order and opens and closes quickly and smoothly.

The interior is fitted with the optional sports seats trimmed in leather, and unlike the usual blacks and greys so often found, this car’s interior is finished custom order cobalt blue to compliment the hood.

When new the legendary four-cylinder turbo changed engine produced 250bhp and 350Nm of torque giving this stylish convertible the ability to sprint from 0 – 60 in a mere 5. 9 seconds and then on to a top speed of 162mph, figures which are still impressive to this today.

To further enhance performance and drivability J950 OPM received a level 2 performance upgrade in 2007 carried out by renowned Porsche specialists Promax Motorsport with all paperwork appertaining to this popular upgrade contained within the vast history file.

Service history is often lacking on 944’s, but this car history is exceptional with a stamped book and numerous invoices, showing diligent maintenance through the cars life. The most recent works were carried out by Porsche specialists Zuffenhaus in September 2021 which included a major service and camshaft and balancer belt replacement.

The previous owner also took the time to create an impressive spreadsheet giving a concise breakdown of every service, repair, and upgrade throughout the car’s life.

Complete with its original book pack, numerous old MOT certificates, a vast selection of invoices, copies of all previous log books, an original brochure and a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, the history file for this car will delight the most ardent of paperwork lovers, and will reassure those purchasing that they are buying a truly special and rare car that has been looked after throughout its life.

As with all our cars, we welcome any inspection, and before delivery a service and fresh MOT will take place to ensure this Porsche is ready to be enjoyed by her new custodian.
