In 2010 Porsche introduced their final version of the iconic 911, the GTS. The GTS model lends its name to the 904 GTS, which won the Targa Florio Race in 1964 with Antonio Pucci behind the wheel. The GTS name was firstly introduced as a way of making a sporty version more comfrtable. When the GTS name was introduced back on the 997, the purpose was exactly the opposite. Its goal was to make a standard 911 more sporty. Not only visually, but also mechanically.
During the development of the GTS, the engine was not forgotten. The 3. 8L Boxer engine received a power upgrade in the form of the X51-pack. This raised the horsepower with 23 hp, compared to the Carrera S; This brings the total power output to a staggering 408 hp. This power is sent to the back wheels via the PDK transmission (Porsche Doppel kupplungsgetriebe). To convert all this added hp into sound, a new sport exhaust was developed exclusively for the GTS. A final feature on the GTS are the centerlock rims. This feature can normally only be found on track cars.
Aesthetically, Porsche has made some alterations to the GTS when compared to the ‘normal’ 911. They have revised the front bumper to be more sporty. This new bumper was also used on the Sport Classic and the Speedster. In the interior, alcantara was available as standard together with the Sport Chrono pack.

This GTS is still equipped with its original engine and gearbox, which are giving power to the rear wheels. Being rear wheel drive and convertible, this car is quite rare. Only 1863 examples have been produced in this configuration. This specific GTS has been delivered by Porsche Centrum Gelderland on the 18th June 2011 to its first owner. In 2013 it was bought by the second and last owner, who imported the car into Belgium. Since the delivery and under the care of its two owners, the car has always been meticulously maintained by official Porsche dealers. Both owners maintained the car to the highest of levels resulting in the car being in almost new condition. Due to their good care, the car is still in its original paint.
This GTS is finished in Carrara White over a black leather interior. Continueing on the exterior, we can find a that the convertible roof was finished in black. This makes for a great contrast with the black centrelock wheels and the GTS sports exhaust sytems. Furthermore, the car has been specified with rear parking sensors and Bi-Xenon headlamps. To complement the sporty looks, there are also two mechanical upgrades. The first of which is a 90L fuel tank and the second being a limited slip differential. This really contributes to the cars exquisite handling.
On the inside, the fist owner ticked almost every option on the options list. This makes the car extremely suitable for everyday use, long distance vacations or even winter drives with the roof down. To give the interior a more sporty look, a carbon fibre finish was chosen for the dashboard inserts. The carbon fibre can not only be found in the dashboard, but also on the door sills.
