Finished in Orient Blue metallic. This a fantastic colour for the BMW 5 Series, reserved for the special examples. As you can see from the pictures and video, it looks excellent. All arches are solid, it presets very well. Obviously being a facelift example it benefits from fully colour coded bumpers, Xenon lights etc.
Inside is also in lovely condition. The higher quality ‘Montana’ leather looks and feels great, The E39 interior is such a lovely place to be.
The wheels are not the original alloys, but a nice replacement set with excellent tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
The 4. 4 V8 engine fitted to this car is a superb unit. This same engine is found in many other notable BMW’s, including the 840 / 740 and is the starting point for the Alpina B10 4. 6 V8.
The gearbox provides lovely smooth gear changes, it also responds very quickly when the car is pushed.
History
This example benefits from a full service history. We have all the original manuals, a fully stamped service book, folder of receipts etc, clear HPI report etc.
