For sale is my 1989 W124 230e
I don't really want to sell it but I am moving to a ULEZ zone, and don't want to pay every time I use the car.
The car has a full service history and a good amount of paperwork to go with it.
I have had the car for just under a year, and it has been a great year with the car, I have used it on long trips and even used it day to day and it has never skipped a beat. All electrics work as they should, all windows, front and back work. Sunroof works for both functions and the rear headrests still pop back down on the button.
The car has never been crashed or painted. I brought it from Jim who works in a garage who had known the car from new it was brought by his friend in 1989. It was the couples car, then his so I am the forth owner. I have the check list from when the car was brand new and the manual.
I would say the paintwork is 7/ 10 but the underside is perfect and there is no rust on the chassis. There were two advisories on the previous mot, slightly rusted rear springs and a small exhaust hole.
I have recently had a new alternator in as the last one was slightly temperamental but not surprising for 33 years old.
The car starts first time and will last forever you see these going up to 300, 000+ miles when they are serviced correctly. I don't want to get rid of the car but its not being used and I would prefer that someone else enjoys driving it.
