First registered in July 1952, this splendid example of the extremely popular TD Midget has been the subject of an extensive renovation over a three year period, to include full restoration of the bodywork, and thorough overhaul of the mechanicals. Prior to this, we understand that the car had been off the road for some 45 years and it is a delight to see it back on the road again. The bodywork is very good indeed, with really well-fitting doors and catches that work properly, and it has been professionally painted to a very good standard. The chrome work was renewed, so it is good, the wiring harness was replaced and now includes flashing indicators. The car runs very well, starts easily and drives along nicely through its 4-speed gearbox and quiet back axle. As you can see from the photographs, the under bonnet area and underside of the car are very nice indeed. Inside the car you will find newly covered leather seats, together with black carpets and new door cards. The tyres are nearly new and the original disc wheels are nicely restored and still have the original hubcaps and badges. The car was MOTd in September 2021 and comes with V5C, together with a very good photographic album of the renovation. There is also a file of invoices and a detailed list of work done. There are a few minor jobs to attend to, which we will discuss when you telephone – and a very favourable price to take these jobs into consideration. Genuine reason for a reluctant sale by a very enthusiastic owner.
