About the vehicle:
This MGB-GT affectionately named ‘Monty’ is probably one of the nicest MGBs we ever had the pleasure of having in at The Motorist.
Stunningly original, the car sports two upgrades: a solar charging point under the rear bumper for trickle charger and a Kenwood KDC-237 CD player and speakers inside the vehicle. The car also has electronic ignition fitted.
The paintwork is very tidy and the interior is immaculate and looks like new, it’s all original and is immediately impressive before you’ve even turned the key. Tyres are all dated 2017 and we have a receipt the battery dated July 2021.
The engine and box are both as expected and the car drives and runs with no problems. It’s evident the car has been well cared for and there’s a big folder of paperwork to accompany the car, which to the credit of previous owners, is packed with receipts which total thousands.
The paperwork for the car is so extensive we have highlighted below what is included, but all prospective buyers will be given the opportunity to browse the full file and examine the receipts in closer detail.
The paperwork and accessories include:
- Various receipts dating back 10+ years
- Various car parts and sundries bought
- Past MOT certificates dating back to 2004
- British Motor Heritage Trust Certificate – issued by May 2019
- MGB drivers hand book
- MGB hand book
- Accuspark handbook
- Kenwood KDC-237 instruction manual
- Full car cover
