This one has carbon fibre and aluminium trim which makes the interior really special.

Together with the Pastel yellow paintwork (a new colour for 1997, reviving the popular pale shade of Summer yellow from the late 1980’s), the overall combination is very distinctive.
Stainless steel tailpipes, 'Turbo S' front air intakes with side lights, ‘2 S’ split rear lid, factory M033 lowered suspension and correct 17 inch Targa alloys.
Electrically adjustable Sports seats finished in Classic grey leather and yellow seat belts to tie in with the exterior finish. There is also air conditioning.
A Targa cabin is an environment like no other. The light is all-surrounding, it’s a wonderful place to be and you have the best of both worlds; opt for the snug coupe experience by closing the roof blind, or open the sliding glass roof for full-on wind-in-the-hair cruising.

Originally supplied in February 1997 by Chapelgate, OPC for Bournemouth.
It is believed the second owner was golfer Sam Torrance.
From 2004 until mid 2020, it belonged to an elderly gentleman and covered just 12, 500 miles or so, with MOT records supporting the minimal mileage each year.
It comes with all its original tools and book pack, plus a folder with MOT certificates, invoices and a replacement service book for the original, which was mislaid by the elderly gent.
The most recent owner managed to acquire some interesting history from previous keepers.
The son of the first owner recognised the car at the Silverstone Classic….“It was great to see it again. I was a bit shell shocked as it brought back so many memories for me and my old dad. I used to sit and hold that carbon wheel at a time when carbon in interiors was far from the norm. The car looks the same as it did when he took delivery. It’s lovely to see everything unmolested and as it was.”
It has been clearly cherished for its whole life, the condition of the bodywork and interior is outstanding. Our meter readings suggest the paintwork to be very original.
A major service with spark plugs and a brake fluid change was carried out in 2020, just 700 miles ago.
