This reliable and well built Riley Tourer is declared manufactured 1931 with a date of registration as 1/ 11/ 80 when it was repatriated from France.

Owned formerly by the well known Rileyist Roger Simkins and sold by Andrew Booth of Orchid Cars in 2002 to A. Hillyard who resided in France, the Riley was eventually registered with the DVLA on it`s return retaining its original registration plate.

The car drives nicely through the 4 speed silent 3rd gearbox and being of lightweight construction has a lively performance for a 9hp of 1087 cc.

As can be seen from the photographs the car is equipped with full weather protection and the fabric body and steel bonnet and wings are in good condition.

The Riley with a few additions would make a good entry to the VSCC Trials scene and is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner without any fettling.
