>>On hold. This is a lovely and original 1930 BSA S30-13 De Luxe “Sloper”. 500cc OHV engine with twin port head. The Sloper is in good condition and goes very well. Competed in vintage rallies over the years. The engine and frame numbers are correct for 1930.
The engine was apart some years ago and checked over thoroughly. Very smooth engine with good compression that will idle from cold. It starts first or second kick with the right technique. Lovely engine sound with a deep bark from the twin exhausts.
There are a few chipped cylinder fins and some nuts on the bike that are not original but apart from that, the Sloper remains in very good original condition.
The paint and chrome on the tank is in near mint condition. Very high quality plate, paint and lining.
The Sloper also retains the original “dashboard” style cover mounted on the handlebar. It contains speedo, light switch, ammeter and choke/ timing levers on either side. The original passenger footrests and rear seat also comes with the bike.
This would be a perfect candidate for vintage rallies such as the Banbury Run. It needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed on the road.
