Last owner for 20 years, garaged most of the time. One 620 exported to Germany to celebrate the 25th year of production in 1984.
6000 trouble-free km in the last five months as daily driver but that has taken it's toll in surface rust.
In dire need of maintenance or Chassis restauration. The front of the car has seen some accidents and one of the previous owners has done some bad slashing to the chassis, front wheel arches, the parcel shelf and the lower rear window frames.
I have replaced the right-hand side door. and covered most rust areas in seams with Perma-Film.
I have sanded down the rear subframe, painted it with rust-proofing paint and sealed it with Perma-Film. All four rubber cones are new, as are the shock-absorbers (KYB lightly upgraded). I replaced most of the rubber parts and put in Hi-Los, so the suspension is as good as new. But there are knocks from the suspension, so that the connection of the subframes to the chassis needs to be checked.
The engine is a Unipart Gold-Seal-Motor (1275CC), with a Lucas Sport Coil. I built in a RC40 Exhasut-kit from Mini-Spares in January.
The engine is losing oil and the radiator is losing coolant.
I have tried to be totally honest about the car's condition. It can be driven and maintained or restored.
