Are you searching for the right vehicle to advertise your small business? Consider this 1949 Ford F-1 Custom Half-ton Panel Truck.

Finished in red, the truck’s paint and trim are in overall excellent order, its bodywork is solid and straight and the engine bay is extremely tidy.
Behind the driver and passenger seats, a cargo yawns with space, waiting for you to fill it with completed orders, small parts or other light-load items. The black bumpers fit well to the truck’s body.

This F-1 rolls on Atrezzo radials, size 195/ 60R15 in front and size 215/ 70R15 in back.
Each one is mounted in a red, vented steel wheel with a chrome center cap.
The wheels look great while the tires are in very good order. This panel truck rides on a 114-inch wheelbase and has a 4, 700 GVWR.

Under the hood is a freshly-built 239 CID, 24-bolt Flathead V-8 with Offenhauser valve covers, intake manifold with dual Stromberg 97 carburetors, custom-coated headers and twin electric cooling fans.

Backing this motor is a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The engine was reportedly professionally overhauled with only test miles on it.
Inside, the brown, low-back vinyl bucket seats look great, while the brown carpeting is in satisfactory order.

The metal headliner is in decent order and there’s a three-spoke banjo-type steering wheel in very good shape. The red metal dash has a circular speedometer and a full array of ancillary gauges. The matching red inner door liners are in similar condition.

Standard features included ashtray, glove box and driver's side sun visor which was unusual on trucks at the time.
A floor shifter completes the interior.

The most noticeable change on the 1949 trucks was the deletion of the red pinstripes on the silver-painted grille bars. Wheels were painted to match body color, rather than the previous black wheels.
Defroster added as an option.

Running boards trimmed at the frame for ease of replacement.
A passenger taillight became standard as well as reflectors on both sides.
From 1948 to 1950, the grille was a series of horizontal bars and the headlights were set into the fenders.

In 1949, similar half-ton panel trucks were available from Chevrolet, Dodge, GMC, International and Willys-Overland.
