You are looking at my 1985 UK BMW E28 M535i. Genuine and rare dogleg manual transmission and full factory M tech specification, presented in Polaris silver paintwork, with full black leather interior.
It flew through it's MOT last week with no advisories and is currently sitting around 138, 000 miles, although I have this car in regular use when the sun is out, so this figure will increase slightly.
It has had thousands upon thousands of pounds spent in the last year or so. It looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures and is as clean underneath as it is up top. It runs and drives faultlessly.
I have masses of paperwork and history to go with the car, but here is a brief summary of everything that has been done in the past year. Everything is brand new OEM BMW or equivalent.

Also fit recently is a Fritz Bitz stainless exhaust system and the CA Tuned Fully adjustable coilovers. The coilovers have been painstakingly set up and the car handles like a dream.
The wheels are Compomotive CX600 staggered 17's with brand new Continental sport contact tyres. They are unmarked and in perfect condition. These are very rare and valuable and I challenge you to find another set! The car is also supplied with period correct 15" BBS BMW wheels with new Continental tyres.
Aside from the Exhaust, Coilovers and Compomotives, and a Sony Head unit, the car is entirely standard BMW.
The bodywork is in fantastic condition throughout with only the slightest of blemishes which come with running any car on the road. There are no scratches or dents however and certainly no rust scabs or lacquer peel etc. The underside of the car is in very, very good condition. I have been right through the underside from front to back and it is as tidy and clean as a 36 year old road car could ever be. The interior is beautiful. The seats are all firm and comfortable and the leather is unmarked and all in tact. Obviously it shows signs of patina here and there, but overall I believe this enhances the whole experience. The dash has two very small cracks that could be repaired if required without removing the dash, but they are not in any way offensive.
Every button, all gauges, central locking and all electrics work perfectly. The car fires up first turn, sits at a perfect idle and temperature and runs like it should. The big straight six engine is brilliant.
As nice as the car is, and its an absolute peach, I must stress that it is a 36 year old road going vehicle which is in regular use. It has it's little personalities and there are marks here and there and some areas that don't look quite as perfect as they once did. The outer bodywork is all immaculate, as are the wheels, the interior and the underside, but I must say that the underside has been undersealed as a preventative measure. There is light surface pitting in a few spots around the engine bay, front panel and the boot floor, but these are very mild and non structural. There are certainly no holes or rust patches!
If you don't have the money for the full M5, or the time and funds to nut and bolt restore an M535i, then this is as good as E28's get. It is priced at the higher end of the market, but I believe the price reflects the condition of the car and with E28's you really do get what you pay for!
