I sold the car to the current owner last summer, the owner before that had the car for 3yrs and the one prior to that for 10yrs, and the chap prior to that for 4yrs. 5 owners in total.
A little bit of a project because of the interior mainly. It needs a tidy-up, or a re-trim in time, but we’ve seen worse (The dreaded Bison…) but it is bone-dry, no dampness or mold, and the current keeper does have a slot at our local trimmers in Leicestershire booked for the car this August/ September, should the new owner want to jump into that.
2002, 38, 400 miles and a Powers engine rebuild, about 3500 miles ago in 2017. At the same time it had the diff bushes done amongst other things.
Thousands spent by the previous owners, and recently looked after by Central TVR and Powers Performance, plus Shmoo did a service on it last summer.
The most recent service was in May '23 at Powers Performance when the car had £2150 spent on it. This was a 12k with Tappets etc, plus other various jobs done by the current owner that add up to approx £3000 in the 12mths he's owned it.
Invoices for over £13, 000 in the file for works carried out in the last few thousand miles.
In recent times the car has had front and rear pads, new petrol tank, 4. 3 starter, new master and slaves fitted, new hood, new Uniroyal tyres, new heater motor, new battery etc.
Chassis is in good condition and has been treated and protected with Lano-Guard. The car has been mopped and has come up nicely, it's a beautiful colour.
Obviously, the big selling point is the recent TVR Power/ Powers Performance rebuild which is very desirable for any Speed Six engined car, irrespective of age, condition or mileage, as this is the biggest cost on one of these.
Drives really well. Smart-looking car that can be used as is, or improved over time.
