“Collection by Vermant” is delighted to be able to offer you this truly unique Porsche 964 speedster. This specific Speedster was delivered new on the 25th of Juni 1993 to its first owner. This was done by the Brussels Porsche dealer and also importer, D’Ieteren NV. In the subsequent years the car changed only once from owner till 2002. It was then bought by the third and final owner and has now decided to part ways with this unique machine. Throughout his ownership, the car was always taken care of and used very sparingly. This 964 has only covered 16. 000 km since being bought by the last owner 20 years ago. Today, this Speedster still retains its all important matching numbers 3. 6L boxer engine, delivering a sporty 250 horsepower.
When looking at the exterior of this Speedster, we can find that the car has been equipped from the factory with an extremely rare PTS (Paint to Sample) colour. The first owner opted for the car to be finished in Arctic Silver. This colour accentuates the lines of this Speedster very well. With Silver being one of the more rarer colours on the 964 range and especially in the Speedsters, this example really stands out. When continuing on the outside, we find the correct Porsche Cup wheels, which are also finished in Silver and complement the exterior colour of the car very well. On the front of the car, a minor upgrade has been made by adding air ducts from the 964 Turbo models. This gives the car a more track focussed look, without being over the top. To complement the Silver air duct, clear lenses have been mounted in the front bumper and the side indicators have also been replaced with clear examples. All the replaced parts are still present to convert the car back into original specification.
When looking at the interior of this 964, we can find a beautifully preserved black leather upholstery. This is an excellent match with the silver exterior colour and gives this car a very classy feel. This is presented with with the Turbo style sport seats. These are a comfortable alternative to the hard core Bucket seats and they make this car more usable on longer trips. Throughout the years, this Speedster has been well taken care of and this is visible in the interior of the car. When continuing on the interior, we can find some very rare Porsche Exclusive features. This includes the gear stick and the handbrake lever. Coincidentally, these are finished in Silver and bring some of the exterior colour into the interior. To further complement the Silver exterior colour, silver rings have been added to the dashboard gauges. These are add on and can be removed without any problem.
