Due to a lower back injury I am selling a couple of my heavier bikes. I bought this bike from Paul Brace of Proper Bikes in 2019. It is a genuine UK bike with 3 former keepers. Mileage is just 4, 900 miles. The bike is in fantastic condition and the only non-standard part is the excellent replica stainless exhaust system. It has the original toolkit including wire loop for rear wheel removal. The emergency kickstart is still fitted to the frame. It has an owners handbook (cover a little worn) , Haynes manual and photocopied and sleeved Yamaha service manual (complete). Several receipts and old MOT`s present. One Yamaha key fits all locks. The chrome is fantastic. The tank has a couple of chips and the tailpiece is marked. However, to respray the bike would detract from its originality. The bike was magazine featured prior to my purchase and a mint copy of the magazine is included.

In my ownership I have replaced the front tyre and tube, fitted stainless pistons and new seals and pads to the front calipers, overhauled the front master cylinder, fitted new carb rubbers and a new battery. I have a new set of steering bearings to go with the bike but have not fitted them as I found by adjusting the existing bearings correctly it cured the stiff steering.
The bike runs and rides as it should and is tax and MOT exempt. For a 44 year old bike it is no slouch !

Would consider P/ Ex 70`s 2 stroke. WHY ?
