This very early Series 2a has lived in Wales all its life until I bought it to Berkshire.
Only 2 owners the 1st from 5th January 1962 until 8th September 1983 and then the 2nd from 1983 until now!
Off the road for many years it has survived depite the Welsh weather!
Nicely original and complete it is ready for a full restoration.
Early Series 2a's are virtually identical to Series 2's and have lots of nice early features.
Chassis number 24101965a it was built in December 1961 as Home Market 88" SWB Bronze green 2. 25 petrol and all matches today.
Up to date V5 document ready to go in new owners name.
The Registration LEU 669 is from Breconshire and is transferable but it would be shame to do this after all this time.
Tax and MOT exempt.
I have had the 2. 25 petrol engine running briefly from a can.
The chassis is bad at the front but if you handy with a welder anything can be done, although a new galvanised chassis would be quicker.
The bulkhead needs new footwells and other work but would repair if you wanted.
Having the tailgate already it will be very easy to convert to Full Canvas if you want to.
A rare opportunity to acquire a very original Land Rover with low owners.
