1993 Peugeot 309 GTI Goodwood Limited Edition

Incredibly rare vehicle with just over 100 left in existence.
309 GTI's are becoming very rare now and the Goodwood models even more so.
The Goodwood, Limited Edition for the United Kingdom was a GTI with full black leather interior as standard, and no cost optional wooden steering wheel, gearknob and CD Autochanger. The model was only available in limited numbers for the United Kingdom in metallic pinewood green with anthracite Speedline alloy wheels, with metal lip on outer rim and badging depicting the Goodwood racing circuit on the front wings, tailgate and steering wheel boss.
I won't bore you with anymore background history of the Goodwood as there is a lot of information on the web.
This example has 126k on the clock and is in stock form apart from a upgraded exhaust system.
The paintwork still presents very well with a high gloss paint finish.
Overall it's a very respectable example which has good clean bodywork.
The interior is in good order with no rips or tears, just age reflected patina as to be expected on the full black leather.
It drives well and accelerates making a wonderful raspy noise.
Changes gears and brakes as it should with no issues.
Within the last few hundred miles the vehicle has had quite a lot of maintenance work carried out which included :-
Full service
New Radiator
Outer drive shaft boot
O/ S rear caliper
N/ S handbrake cable
New Firestone tyres all round
4 x Alloy refurbs
The timing belt was replaced at 123k on 12-10-2017
There are handbooks, some service records and previous MOT certificates present.
Hpi clear and 2 keys present.
Just had a MOT this month so is ready to go.
This really is a great opportunity to purchase a very rare and sought after 309 Goodwood in superb condition.
They don't come up for sale very often and the one's that do are mostly rough projects needing huge restorations.
This one is ready to drive away and to be enjoyed.
It will be a regrettable sale as i doubt i will find another in this sort of condition as owners are nestling all the decent one's away and keeping hold of them nowadays.
If it does'nt sell it will stay nestled in my garage alongside my other appreciating classics.
