This is an excellent example of this classic V12 model, beautifully presented and in a condition that you could only hope for mechanically and bodily with particular attention having being paid to the underside of the car by the previous maintenance engineers, there is some cosmetic attention required to the passenger seat where the stitching has become slightly separated and the veneer around the gearstick is showing signs of age and delaminating but nothing that detracts from the originality of the XJS. Originally a 'Browns Road' management car, stamped in the book and then transferred to Swain and Jones Jaguar in Farnham where it was sold to its second owner. The Jaguar was then looked after in 1991, 1993, 1996 by HA Fox in Cheltenham and still retains the rear window sticker from that time. Weybridge Autos put the last Jaguar stamp in the book at 25989 miles and maintenance since has been by local garages with the last service recorded in June 2021 at 37236 miles. The very low mileage is documented by the service book which is in the original book pack wallet along with the 'credit card' spare key. The history file is a lever arch file with a full record of all maintenance and expenses incurred almost since new, an excellent record of the careful and considerate ownership. A very low mileage example, nicely maintained and has been in current ownership since 2009. The car was owned by father and son before this and along with the Jaguar name in the book brings it to 4 owners, a demonstrator, father and son for 19 years and then the current owner for 12 years. The Jaguar will come with a fresh MoT for a new owner. There is a new headlining in the boot which can be fitted by the new owner if they wish as there is slight discolouration in the original beige headlining, there is a stonechip at the leading edge of the bonnet which has been nicely touched in and the paintwork around the rest of the car is very nice indeed. The underside is in excellent order, about as good as I have seen and we have just had the handbrake fully serviced with new pads fitted.
