1998 Aston Martin Virage V8 Coupe – One owner car – One of 30 produced
Fantastic, one of only 30 left-hand drive, hand-build, Virage V8 Coupe in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. The car has 37671 original one-owner kilometers on the odometer, the factory 5. 3-liter V8 engine producing 350 horsepower, and an automatic transmission. The car was ordered and purchased new in 1998 by a Danish national living and working in England. The one and only Danish owner imported and registered the car in Denmark in October 2007.
The Virage V8-powered model was intended as the company's flagship model, with the 6-cylinder DB7, introduced in 1994, positioned below it as an entry-level model. Although the DB7 became available with a V12 engine and claimed a performance advantage, the Virage remained the exclusive, expensive, and hand-built flagship of the Aston Martin range. A very limited number of Virage V8 Coupe was produced and of the 101 total number, only 30 were produced in left-hand drive.
