This is a Mk2 facelifted, i. e. Mk2. 5 1. 8 Sport (148 bhp). first registered in 2001. I bought it in 2004, sold it a few years later, felt lost so bought it again in 2010 since when I have owned it continuously. The car has covered a comparatively low mileage of 67000.
The car has a mohair hood rather than vinyl and a double-din radio stack has been fitted,
6 speed gearbox,
LSD,
heated seats,
electric mirrors.
The car also has speakers fitted in the rear wind deflector
Other than the radio and the wheels, which thanks to a pothole are not those originally fitted but are Mazda wheels the car is totally original. Also being sold with the car is a matching original hardtop and the cherished number as shown.
