Description
This is a really exciting find!
This Land Rover Chassis number 24425258C was built on 17th November 1965 and dispatched form the Factory on 25th November 1965 destined for the Swiss Army.
An export market Left Hand Drive 88" 2. 25 petrol as it is today.
Imported to England in 2015 and registered as GFX 559D.
Heritage Certificate here which verifies all details.
Current up to date V5 here and ready to go in new owners name.
It was MOTd in 2015 and the mileage was 97, 502 kilometres which translates to 60, 584 miles which I would think is genuine.
Tax and MOT exempt
It is in very original Swiss Army spec with correct lights and fittings.
Original elephant hide seats front and rear bench seats as well.
It has been dry stored and unused since and therefore will need the brakes recommissioning and checking as the pedal goes to the floor!
The original petrol engine number 25239025 starts on the button and sounds lovely. I have a video of it running I can whatsapp over.
The bodywork is very straight.
The chassis is sound and has had solid welding repairs over the years.
The bulkhead is very good up top with the usual repairs to footwells.
The drivers side footwell has a hole that needs repair otherwise the bulkhead is solid.
This will make an excellent project that will be back on the road quickly and you are unlikely to see another one at a show!
