Description
This car was originally produced on the 19th August 1958 and then subsequently shipped to New York on the 24th of September of the same year.
This rare 150 model returned to the UK in the spring of 1988. As soon as she landed extensive works were carried out in preparation for a trip to Italy. In 1989 she was converted to right hand drive, had extensive bodywork and re-trim.
The present owner purchased the car in 2000 where the long relationship between the car and CMC started. In preparation for a trip to Le Mans, we re-wired the car, rebuilt the engine to fast road specification and rebuilt the gearbox and overdrive. New wire wheels were also then fitted.
This car has been loved and used on a huge number of tours, holidays and summer use. As a result the no expense spared attitude of maintenance is reflected in invoices for over £100, 000 including £30, 000 in the last twelve months on a fresh engine re-build and other works.
You simply could jump in this car, start it first time and drive to Europe! This car is simply fabulous to drive and we defy anyone who does so not to have a smile on their face!
