1965 Ford Ranchero Truck
The Ranchero is in great original condition throughout, running and driving. 289 engine sounds great.
It needs some recommissioning work, brakes etc. the truck is very solid, doors, wings, wheel arches, buck, tailgate,
only needs some work on the floors, both sides have steel plates at back of the floors under the seats. The nearside has holes on the underside, could do with new floor welded in to make a job of it. offside has no holes and looks ok. Small bit of plating needed in n/ s/ r wheel tub, have pictures showing this area. Also both sides of the buck need small repairs to front of the wheel arches at the bottom.
Bonnet has some damage as you see in the pictures, butt comes with spare bonnet.
it was said 64/ 65 Rancheros were thought of as Mustang pickups
Oddjob uses one in James bond film, Goldfinger, after having his Lincoln continental with Mr Solos body inside crushed and a crane loads the remains onto the bed of the Ranchero.
A great usable truck when work completed, body has a shine as you can see in the pictures.
