Description

Ford GPW Airborne Jeep , build 16 June 1943

Nice Ford GPW jeep, produced on 16 June 1943.
This Ford GPW is an older restoration and shows a beautiful period patina with many original parts. We technically checked her over, replaced the engine oil, and she is ready to drive. A solid and reliable driver with strong orginality.

The jeep is dressed as a British Airborne jeep of the 1st Airlanding Brigade HQ (109), reflecting how similar jeeps were seen during and after Operation Market Garden in September 1944 around Oosterbeek and Arnhem in the Netherlands.
