Overall good condition bike for the age, rides really well and the engine on these are amazing. I've had a XRV 750 and a R 1150 GSA and the power delivery on this is totally different, much quicker and happier revving.
Only history I have is a couple of old MOTs. I was told about a load of servicing work that was done but don't have any receipts etc. However I recently spent over £250 on new plugs, oil, filters, chain, sprocket and front brake lines ready for a big service (see images) but haven't had chance to do it yet. All bits are included in the price. There's also a new rally windscreen fitted that was imported from Europe and it's recently had a new battery. Tyres are Michelle Anakees with plenty of life left.
Refurbished bodywork and plastics, at some point in its life the engine and frame has been painted black, not sure why, but it does suit the colour scheme and I'm sure has protected it a bit. Two sets of keys included along with tool kit in the rear compartment and an Haynes manual.
I've not had the bike long, I was toying with one of these or an XRV 650 AT, at the time no ATs were on the market but typically one came up after I bought this so am switching to that. I would love to keep the two as they offer quite different riding experiences but only have room for one bike.
Please bare in mind this is a 31 year old bike, so certainly not showroom condition, please study all the pictures and I have a walk around video if you'd like to see.
Certainly gets a lot of attention wherever it goes as you don't see many of them any more.
