A pal of mine Mike Minski is looking to sell his partner, Jayne’s, Mazda MX5. I helped them find it a few years back.
Now it's a bit of a cheapie for someone looking to get into a cabriolet I'd have thought?
Being sold on account of the need to now transport a son who’s developed legs which no longer fit in the passenger side footwell!

163, 500 miles
We were surprised at how well it drove back in 2016 when it had 140K miles on the clock, but if anything - since having software upgrades and good servicing - it drives even better now than it did then! These things are amazingly well-engineered!
The hood is leak free.
Heated seats still work great.
There’s a Bluetooth / USB unit fitted (in the glove box) to the standard CD radio to enable hands-free phone calls/ connection of devices.
A few bits and bobs were done to get it through the MOT in Feb. Lambda sensor was replaced to sort out emissions, a new Yaw sensor to clear a dash light - and it was also serviced, Hydrogen cleaned and treated to a new battery at the same time.
The car’s been regularly serviced by a master tech local to me while in Jayne’s ownership and it's been a practical, totally reliable, cheap to run/ insure and fun car.
The sills were repaired a couple of years back (a common issue with this generation of MX5). Photos of the work are available.
Obviously - due to its age and it being a ‘daily drive’ - it’s not without minor flaws but certainly tidy enough and still looks a real eyeful as you can see.
In short, it’s good to go. It NEEDS no money spending on it, but the new owner might CHOOSE to make good car park acquired scuffs, refurb the wheels etc...
