As far as modern 911s go, the 997 Carrera is just such a sweet spot. Perfectly tractable, surprisingly fast, comfortable and sportier - all at the same time. Today, good examples, like this car, represent excellent value too.
This Basalt Black Carrera 2 was delivered new by Porsche Centre Guildford on 05/ 08/ 02. The car came equipped with Black Full Leather and the following extras: Porsche Vehicle Tracking System, Windscreen with Grey Top Tint, 19' Carrera S Wheel, Park Assist (Parking Aid Rear), Rear Wiper, Automatically Dimming Interior and Exterior Mirrors with Integrated Rain Sensor, Floor Mats, PCM 2 - Extended Navigation Module for Off Road, Telephone Module and BOSE Surround Sound System. Please note - this is a very rare and desirable non-sunroof car.
In July 2022 the 3. 6 flat 6 engine had a borescope inspection carried out JMG Porsche in Dorset showing absolutely no scoring or abnormal marking on any of the cylinder bores or sitting oil. A full report from JMG Porsche accompanies the cars history file.
Today, the car has covered 59, 000 miles and, it must be said, is one of the best condition 997s we have encountered in recent years. It has been meticulously maintained throughout its life, as is very well documented by its vast service history file of invoices and service stamps.

This purest iteration of the 997 would make a great daily driver or weekend toy.
