RUNNING AND DRIVING
This is a California car so has spent most of its life in a sunny and warm climate. This car is a good example of a Second Generation Mustang survivor (1971 thru 1973). I imported the car back in October 2017. This is basically a one owner car.
The 302 V8 (now marketed as a 5. 0l) starts and runs smoothly at the turn of the key. The gearbox shifts smooth and firm no slippage or clunking.
This car is a great candidate for a restomod or project for someone it could easily be restored to show condition or just drive and enjoy. The floors and all panels are rock solid with only minor surface rust in spots and the odd bit of bubbled paint. If you wanted to make it perfect I would suggest a full respray but depends how critical you are. It's good enough for me to drive and enjoy as is but I'm struggling with time now so has to be sold. Makes a beautiful growling noise which really stands out. I have had various bits of work done to the car whilst in my ownership.
